This family run business is definitely a hidden gem for your breakfast and lunch needs. Generous portions, delicious sides, and quick service. It's my new go-to spot for breakfast burritos and deli sandwiches. I ordered the Italian sub with Mac salad and was stuffed afterwords. I appreciate the thick cut deli meats, and think you will too. It's mostly an in-and-out spot, but there's always seating available if you need to eat there. And options? This place has it all. Definitely planning on trying their protein smoothies soon, and will update afterwords. If you're in the area for lunch, check it out.

Very clean seating area, all the tables had Clorox wipes available which I personally really appreciated. The hilltop breakfast bagel with an everything bagel and sausage was sooo delicious! The staff was very friendly and quick with preparing out breakfast. We'll be back every time we come to San Diego now!
I absolutely love coming here. I work down the street and stop in a few times a week. Everything that they make is wonderful, from the smoothies to the sandwiches and beyond. There are vegetarian options for those looking. The quality of food is much better than your average deli. They also carry all sorts of snacks and a huge drink selection so you can always find what you're looking for. Not ready for a full meal? They've got nuts and cliff bars and ice cream and cookies and fruit snacks... the list goes on and on. There is seating inside and also 3 nice picnic tables outside if you want to soak in some sun. All that said, the best thing about the business are the people who run it. They are so kind, considerate, and thoughtful. Every visit is a pleasant one and makes you want to return.
I came in today with my sister for lunch. She's pregnant and can't have deli meat but the lady at the front that helped us was super helpful and accommodating. She told her she can make her a chicken sandwich and had my sister customize it however she wanted! I've been on a diet and was craving something other than a salad so the lady told me she even has keto bread that she can use! The sandwiches even came with a salad and pasta salad. The sandwiches were so good, the prices are great and the staff was so friendly. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend this place!
First timer here. Was greeted by a very friendly lady that made a great recommendation. California(turkey, avocado and bacon). Soooo good. Got egg salad as well. Cashiers were nice also. . Will definitely be back soon. Thank you Hilltop Deli and staff. You have a happy new customer

This family owned deli is a business park gem. Absolutely massive and high quality sandos and sides with a great menu. Highly highly recommend
" New Owner, With New Visions & Quality " The Hilltop Deli has recently gotten a new owner, Nancy. Nancy has come into the Hilltop Deli with the new visions of getting the Deli back to the Quality that it used to have. They have a beautiful new large Menu wall board for customers to look at, and they have added some new dishes and sandwiches. Lola and Lucy the sandwich makers are very nice and ask a lot of questions to make sure you are happy with your order. The Hilltop Deli also now has different Restaurant times and days they are open. They are open Monday Thru Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. The Deli also does Catering, and uses Instagram, Facebook, Grubhub, Uber Eats, and their web site at Hilltopdeli.com, to help customers order their menu items. I liked what I saw today, and the Reuben Sandwich I had was Delicious !
